Facebook’s Hidden Like

Take Action

Outsmart Facebook with the “invite” button that Facebook doesn’t want you to know about to increase marketing ROI- For Free.

Most fast-growth entrepreneurs do not have the marketing budget for Facebook that they have in the years past. More importantly reach is not what it used to be over the past five years as shown below in the data.

There is still value in having a high number of page likes. “Likes” serve as a form of social proof. The higher number of likes your brand has, the higher your brand value appears to prospects. More importantly having more followers allows your brand to have a higher organic reach.

Looking Ahead

This hidden feature allows you to invite people who have engaged with your content to engage with your page- for free currently. Currently it is unknown if Facebook is beta testing this hidden feature, however do know it is not currently available on every Facebook page yet.
To clarify this is not the feature Facebook has offered for years where you have the ability to “invite friends to like this page”. This hidden feature opens up your brand’s reach to a new and larger audience beyond your current page followers.

To find out if your account has access to this Invite button, go to your Facebook Page or the Facebook app (only the regular Facebook app, not the Facebook Pages Manager App, which doesn’t appear to have this feature).

Click on the people who engaged with your post. You’ll see three types of buttons:

Invite – This is the new button I haven’t seen before. Clicking on this will invite the person who engaged with your post to Like your page.

Liked – These are the people who have Liked your page already.

Invited – These are the people who you have sent an invitation but haven’t yet accepted.

There is limited invitations that can be sent daily. This range appears to be between 500 to 1000. Facebook will notify you upon reaching your limit. Simply check back within 48 hours to begin inviting more people. It also important to note this Invite button appears to come and go randomly, thus should be taken advantage of while available.

Thus far the data is showing an acceptance rate of 15-20% which is extremely high in marketing return. Upon their acceptance we recommend sending a personalized message as this has been show to yield a 1 in 5 conversion rate for most industries.
